CAST 2011 Presenters
Congratulations on your acceptance to present at CAST 2011!
Look up your Workshop/Short Course time and location. The search bar is on the left.
You may still upload handouts to your presentation by logging in to your presenter account and editing "My Proposals"!
CAST 2011 Presenter Information
- You may review the Presenter Terms and Conditions. You had to confirm your acceptance of these terms before your proposal was submitted.
- Please also review STAT’s safety standards. All proposals were judged on the safety requirements found here.
- This year’s proposal site has the ability to accept hand-outs for your presentation, your power point slides, and/or any other presentation material up to 128MB. If you have materials you would like to submit with your session proposal, please be prepared to upload them. Please note that, if accepted, your handouts will be viewed online by attendees for two weeks after the conference. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this option.
-
Please remember that unless you have paid for an exhibitor booth, you must register for the conference. Online registration is open at http://www.statweb.org/cast/register.
-
When you arrive at the Dallas Convention Center, please check in at the “Presenter Check-In” booth, which is located on Level 2, Exhibit Hall C, to the far left of Registration. Check-in will begin Wednesday evening from 4-9pm, Thursday from 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. We please ask you to try to check in early so we can mark your session as ready to go!
-
Please bring a session presider/helper with you or assign someone in your class to assist you to start the session on time, not allowing additional registrants in if the room is at capacity, and assist in clearing the room quickly after the session to allow the next presenter to set up.
-
Reminder: no rooms will have projectors except some of the A Ballrooms and C Ballrooms (JAM Sessions). Please bring your own projector or coordinate with other presenters to share. All rooms will have mics and screens.
-
Please arrive to your session to present AT LEAST 15 minutes early. All rooms will be checked 15 minutes prior to the start time to alert attendees if a presenter has not arrived.
-
We will have volunteers, security and A/V technicians in all areas if you need help! Just look for anyone in a volunteer t-shirt or STAT safety vest!
Thank you for your interest in further educating the brilliant minds of the science teachers in Texas. We look forward to seeing you in Dallas!
